About Course

Year 11 Computing consolidates theoretical knowledge and sharpens programming, computational thinking, and exam technique. Students prepare for their final GCSE assessments by mastering core concepts, refining coding skills, and practising exam-style questions.
Course Objectives
By the end of Year 11, students will be able to:
Explain how computer systems work internally
Apply computational thinking to solve problems
Write, test, and debug programs confidently
Understand data representation and cybersecurity
Demonstrate strong exam technique in written papers
