About Course

The Science course in Year 3 develops pupils’ understanding of the natural and physical world through observation, investigation, and reasoning. Learners explore living things, materials, forces, and Earth phenomena while developing skills to ask questions, make predictions, conduct simple experiments, and record findings. The course fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of discovery in a safe and engaging environment.

Plants: structure, function, life cycles, and habitats
Animals and humans: nutrition, skeletons, muscles, and basic body functions
Forces and magnets: pushes, pulls, and magnetic interactions
Light, shadows, and reflections
