About Course

The English Literature course in Year 7 introduces pupils to a wide range of literary texts that develop imagination, critical thinking, and a lifelong appreciation for reading. Pupils explore novels, short stories, poetry, and drama from different cultures and time periods, learning to analyse characters, themes, language, and structure. The course encourages thoughtful discussion, personal response, and creative interpretation of texts.
