About Course

The Computing / ICT course in Year 8 develops pupils’ ability to use technology effectively, safely, and creatively. Pupils enhance digital literacy, explore more advanced programming and computational thinking, and apply ICT skills across a range of subjects. The course encourages problem-solving, project-based learning, and responsible online behaviour, preparing learners for more complex digital tasks and Key Stage 3 computing challenges.
