About Course

The Year 10 English Literature course introduces pupils to a range of challenging texts from different periods, genres, and cultures. Pupils study novels, plays, and poetry, developing the skills to analyse language, structure, form, and thematic content in depth. The course focuses on independent interpretation, critical evaluation, and written and spoken communication, preparing learners for GCSE examinations in English Literature.
