About Course
The English Language course in Year 7 develops pupils’ ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and effectively in both spoken and written forms. Building on prior learning, pupils strengthen their reading comprehension, expand vocabulary, refine grammar and sentence structure, and develop structured writing skills. The course encourages critical thinking, creativity, and purposeful language use across a range of fiction, non-fiction, and real-world texts.
