About Course

Year 11 Faith & Values Mentorship supports students during a high-pressure, formative year, helping them develop strong moral foundations, emotional resilience, personal responsibility, and purpose-driven decision-making. The course integrates faith principles with real-life ethical challenges, leadership development, and preparation for life beyond school.
Course Objectives
By the end of Year 11, students will be able to:
Articulate a personal value system grounded in faith and ethics
Apply moral reasoning to real-life dilemmas
Demonstrate integrity, empathy, and accountability
Manage stress, failure, and success responsibly
Make informed, values-based life decisions

AUTUMN TERM
Focus: Foundations of Faith, Character Building and Mentorship Skills

  • WEEK 1 – The Foundations of Faith
  • WEEK 2 – Understanding God’s Character
  •  WEEK 3 – Prayer & Communication with God
  •  WEEK 4 – Living with Integrity
  •  WEEK 5 – Leadership and Mentorship
  • WEEK 6 – Overcoming Challenges with Faith
  •  WEEK 7 – Service and Impact
  • WEEK 8 – Building Healthy Relationships
  •  WEEK 9 – Godly Decision Making
  • WEEK 10 – Reflection and Personal Growth Plan

SPRING TERM
Focus: Consolidate faith-based principles, ethical decision-making, and personal growth Develop mentorship skills, resilience, and leadership qualities Explore Bible applications, life skills, and peer support strategies Prepare students to apply faith and mentorship principles in practical and exam-style scenarios

SUMMER TERM
Focus: This final term is about integration, reflection, and legacy.
